roy duke – fused glass

After retirement from the world of accounting and computers in 2018, Roy attended a taster course on glass fusing at West Dean College and got the bug. A summer school course followed and then creation of a workspace in the garden and investment in the tools of the trade.  Roy’s love of geometric forms and the wonders of the natural world and beyond are reflected in his work.  Every day is a new adventure.

Roy has exhibited with Petersfield Arts and Crafts Society since 2022 and has had a couple of his pieces re-posted on the WarmGlassUK social media pages. 2025 saw Roy having one of his pieces accepted for the AppArt exhibition in Surrey.

Examples of Roy’s work can be seen on his instagram page:-
