Jenny has always enjoyed making things and trying different crafts. Following a  hedgerow-brush making course at the Weald & Downland Museum, she was inspired to take these newly acquired skills a step further.

The range of brushes she makes are made from natural materials and she wants them to have a functional simplicity, using different brush fibres and coloured cords to enhance and decorate them. Jenny says “It’s exciting to think that someone may like what I have made and want to own one of my brushes, but my key enjoyment is in the process of creating a unique and individual product”.

Below is a selection of Jenny’s creations. The latest addition to the portfolio is a brush fashioned from a golf ball. Ideal for getting into the grooves to clean the face of the clubs. Complete with a simple carabiner to clip it to your bag so it is always to hand.

The wooden parts Jenny collects from various sources. Friends garden pruning, driftwood from the beach and repurposed wood turning. Come along to Hampshire Open Studios in August to sample her wares.
